These big, brown kings of the mushroom family are packed with vitamins and nutrients and are delicious grilled. Here's how to prepare them:
1. Remove stem. Peel or use a vegetable brush; rinse well.
2. Put mushroom caps in a bowl and drizzle olive oil on both sides to coat.
3. Place mushrooms on a lightly oiled grill, cover, and cook five minutes.
4. Turn mushrooms and grill four minutes longer or until tender in the middle when
pierced with a knife.
Slice and serve in salads or chop and put out as a side dish. Or, melt a slice of cheese on top and put in a bun with fixings for a mushroom burger. Top with desired toppings and condiments.
